The Isee 2020 calculation will be easier than in past years. In fact, since 3 February, a pre-compiled version of the Single Substitutive Declaration (DSU), a fundamental document for calculating the ISEE, has been available on the INPS website because it contains the personal data, income and assets of families. But let's go in order.
ISEE: WHAT IT IS AND WHAT IT IS FOR
The Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (Isee) is a value used by the Public Administration (state and local) to determine the economic conditions of households. Based on this number, the State decides who is entitled to subsidized social benefits such as family allowances, baby bonuses, tuition fee waivers and more.
ISEE CALCULATION 2020: A NEW DSU MUST BE PRESENTED
The Dsu is valid until 15 January of the year following that of presentation, therefore those presented in 2019 expired on 15 January. This means that - to request new subsidized social benefits or in some cases to continue to benefit from the benefits already enjoyed - you need to present a new Dsu and thus obtain the ISEE 2020.
PRE-FILLED DSU: HOW TO ACCESS IT FROM THE INPS WEBSITE
Precisely this operation is now much simpler than in the past, because all citizens can access their pre-compiled Dsu from the INPS website, following the path "Performance and services" - "All services" - "Pre-compiled Isee".
To log in to the Inps authenticated area, just enter one of the following credentials:
- GDP INPS device;
- credentials issued by the Revenue Agency;
- SPID identity (Public Digital Identity System) level 2 or higher;
- National Service Card (CNS);
- Electronic identity card 3.0.
ISEE CALCULATION 2020: OTHER CLARIFICATIONS FROM INPS
The pre-compiled Dsu "is a novelty that meets the needs of citizens, avoiding queues and waste of time - explains INPS in the note - The online service, in fact, facilitates and simplifies the compilation of the Dsu with pre-compiled data thanks to the sharing of information provided by the Revenue Agency and INPS”.
Those who want to continue using the old method can do so: it is in fact possible to obtain the ISEE 2020 even by presenting the DSU in a non-pre-compiled form.
Further information on the pre-compiled Dsu and on the Isee 2020 can be found in INPS message no. 96 of 13 January. They are also available on the Institute's website guides and tutorials on the subject.
