During the usual press conference at the end of the monthly meeting of the Governing Council, the President of the ECB was interrupted by a colorful protester: the woman suddenly jumped on Draghi's desk shouting sentences in English and throwing confetti in the air. The press conference was briefly interrupted, then resumed as normal.
Shortly before, the board of the European Central Bank had confirmed the reference rate of the Eurozone at an all-time low of 0,05%.
