Safety at work and organization of work along the power grid They returned to the center on May 20, 2026 with the sixth edition of Stop For Safety, the event promoted by Enel dedicated to the discussion between operators in the network sector. The initiative involved over 20.000 people among workers in distribution and in over 300 related companies, distributed from North to South of the country in more than 100 operating locations.
For a few hours, operations were halted to allow for dialogue and listening, while ensuring the continuity of operations, safety, and operation of the electricity grid. It wasn't just a day of discussion, but a moment of shared reflection along the entire supply chain, demonstrating the role of the Group led by Flavio Cattaneo in the diffusion of safety culture in the energy sector.
Operators and companies discuss safety along the electricity grid
The 2026 edition of Stop For Safety focused in particular on the dimension ofactive listening and on the comparison between operational experiences, with the aim of enhancing the dialogue among those who work on the grid on a daily basis. The meetings, coordinated by the Heads of the Territorial Units, alternated between technical contributions, operational testimonials, and structured discussions. Enel's partner companies also participated, with a view to shared security management across the entire value chain.
Stop For Safety continues to be a recurring event for Enel and the companies involved: an opportunity to take stock of the work done and maintain a high level of focus on prevention issues. The initiative is part of the Group's broader program, which includes training activities for staff and the recent renewal of the protocol with INAIL and trade unions to develop innovative safety solutions. This set of activities supports the daily management of the electricity grid, where safety is a fundamental component of operations.
