Generali is the first among the Italian insurance companies to sign the “Zero Tolerance” Protocol against any act of gender violence and/or harassment. This agreement, developed in collaboration with trade unions within the Joint Commission for Equal Opportunities, aims to address and prevent inappropriate behavior in the workplace.
The Joint Commission was established after Generali Italia obtained the Gender Equality Certification. The protocol clearly establishes unacceptable conduct and outlines the procedures necessary to maintain a work environment free of violence and harassment. The measures The measures include employee training, reporting processes and disciplinary sanctions for those who do not comply.
Furthermore, the Commission's commitment extends beyond gender issues, embracing all forms of diversity, including age, ethnicity, sexual orientation and disability. Further initiatives are already planned, a note explains, and will be addressed in the coming months.
