Vodafone has signed a five-year strategic agreement with the defense group Bae Systems. The agreement concerns advanced services and products in communication security, starting with smartphones and tablets.
The first commercial result of the partnership is expected for next spring, a security solution in cloud services for businesses: it will be called Bae Vodafone Mobile Threat Manager. Bae also made it known that he wants to select Vodafone as its first mobile communications supplier globally, except in the US.
