The2024 edition of the training and networking path on Integral Sustainability in the main Italian production chains, Road to Social Change, promoted by the Banking Academy – ESG Italy of UniCredit in collaboration with Aiccon, Fondazione Italiana Accenture ETS, Istud Business School, Cottino Social Impact and TechSoup. The fourth edition of the program, totally free, is organized by UniCredit as part of ESG Italy activities with the Education programs of the Banking Academy.

Road to Social Change: what's new for the 2024 edition

Le Novelty 2024 of the Road to Social Change path include distinctive content provided by Native, which helps companies evolve towards regenerative economic models. Four episodes of the podcast are also planned “Currently” by Will, dedicated to major global changes, and a series of corners focused on cultural change, leadership and the role of digitalisation. Furthermore, a model for accompanying companies towards sustainability will be tested.

The focus of Road to Social Change

La Integral Sustainability remains at the heart of the Road to Social Change path that focuses on key production chains in Italy. The events will be held on different dates: agri-food in the South on 26 September, tourism in Sicily on 30 October, and a final event in November in Lombardy dedicated to health and care. Events on fashion and ceramics have already taken place in the previous months.

Adopting Integral Sustainability in supply chains is essential to promote cultural changes, increase competitiveness and guide more responsible behavior. The objective of the course is to develop a entrepreneurial mindset e new leadership models that link the creation of economic value to socioeconomic well-being.

The objective is to spread integral sustainability

The 2024 path aims to spread Integral Sustainability through three strategic levers. Firstly, it aims to inspire people with concrete stories and practices, involving experts and industry leaders in dedicated Live Talks and Podcasts. Secondly, it offers training to participants through content available on an on-demand platform and technical insights for professionals from SMEs and non-profit organizations. Finally, it certifies the skills acquired with the Social Change Manager Open Badge, a professional figure who supports a fair transition and promotes change within companies.

The results of Road to Social Change

As of 2021, the Road to Social Change program has involved 6.000 beneficiaries and over 2.050 companies in Italy. In the latest edition, it involved 1.800 beneficiaries including SMEs, non-profit organizations and institutions. In total, 800 Social Change Managers were trained and certified, professionals capable of supporting a fair transition within companies, after completing a training course and passing a dedicated assessment.
