Last tranche of the year of 2-month bots and 6-year ctz. The Treasury today placed 1 billion euros of six-month BOTs and 2017 billion ctz maturing in December XNUMX, both with yields below zero.
Specifically, the weighted average yield of bots maturing on 30 June 2016 is -0,038%, decidedly below parity but, as reported by the Bank of Italy bulletin, up 7 basis points compared to the previous auction. The coverage ratio was 1,32 given that demand was €7,9 billion.
Moving on to the Ctz. We must report a new historic low as regards the yield which fell to -0,109%, down by one basis point compared to the previous auction. The request amounted to 3,4 billion and the coverage ratio was 2,29 times the offer.
