The first edition of the Annual Workshop on the Water Service is held today in Turin, at the Vivaldi Auditorium, at the National University Library, which will see the heads of companies in the sector, finance and the Public Administration discuss the following topics:
1. Improved investment planning and service delivery;
2. Technological innovation to increase management efficiency and service quality;
3. Financing infrastructure.
For some years, thanks above all to the role assumed by the Authority for Electricity, Gas and the Water System, the water sector in Italy has been experiencing a new "renaissance": investments are growing, the quality of the service is increasing as the attention to technological dynamics.
For these reasons AGICI, within the Observatory on Utilities, dedicates an annual event to the Integrated Water System; the aim is to present and discuss the research activities carried out on the most relevant issues from an economic, financial, managerial point of view, on the centrality of the consumer, on regulatory issues and on technological dynamics. This, with particular attention to international comparisons.
