Ruble, recovery continues: hit the record of 2015

After the collapse at the end of 2014, the Russian ruble has been recovering strongly for some time and today it set new highs for 2015, trading at 53,4 for one dollar and 58,47 for one euro.

Last December, the ruble had reached historic lows, falling to 80 rubles for one dollar and 100 for one euro, but over the last few weeks, thanks to the partial easing of international tensions and the slight recovery in crude oil prices, it managed to recover around 40% against the other major currencies.

Even in the face of this important recovery trend, the ruble remains down 39% compared to the highs of 6 months ago.
