“April's indications are in line with the data of a substantially stagnant economy since mid-2013 – claims Nomisma chief economist Sergio De Nardis -. The drop in employment nullifies the positive signal that emerged in March: the unemployment rate does not increase just because the labor force shrinks. In this context, youth unemployment fails to improve, indeed it exceeds the threshold of 43%.
