The new CEO of Fibercop is Marco Nespolo. Nespolo joins from the Fedrigoni Group, an Italian company that is a world leader in specialty papers for luxury packaging and premium wine labels, the third-largest player in the global self-adhesive materials market, and a leading global player in RFID media. As CEO of the group since November 2018, Nespolo has led its profound strategic, industrial, and organizational transformation and its path to strong international growth, including through numerous acquisitions.
Fibercop: Who is Nespolo?
Prior to Fedrigoni, Nespolo was CEO of the Cerved Group, Italy's leading provider of credit management services and information. He joined Cerved in 2013, first as Chief Operating Officer and then as CEO, and led its growth, both organically and through acquisitions, as well as its transition to a fully public company following its IPO in 2014. Nespolo began his career in 1997 as a financial analyst at Citibank, subsequently moving to strategic consulting at Bain & Company between 1998 and 2005. From 2005 to 2013, he worked at Bain Capital Private Equity in London, where he focused on the development and post-acquisition value creation of portfolio companies across a variety of global sectors and geographies, sometimes holding interim leadership roles. Born in 1973, Marco graduated magna cum laude in Business Economics from Bocconi University in Milan in 1996.
