American and European airlines (including Alitalia) have suspended flights to Israel, with varying lengths of time, after a rocket fired by Hamas from the Strip once again hit a town near Ben Gurion International Airport. The Italian company has canceled tonight's and tonight's flights while tomorrow's has been postponed to 19pm tomorrow evening.
A further sign that the war in Gaza is escalating, while Israel has decided to reject a humanitarian truce and the UN is continuing to push to stop the conflict. In the Strip the dead have reached over 600 (including 121 children, reports Unicef), while the population under Israeli attacks in northern Gaza is displacing to seek refuge from the fire of the raids.
