Indesit closed 2012 with a net profit of 62 million euros, up 6% on 2011, revenues of 2,9 billion, 2% more than the previous year, and an EBIT down to 133 million euro from the 150 million recorded in the previous year.
This is what can be read in a note on the preliminary results examined today by the Board of Directors. The management had forecast revenue growth of 2% and an Ebit of 120 million. In the fourth quarter alone, revenues grew by 5% over the year to 782 million and Ebit rose by 7% to 72 million. Net financial debt grew to 256 million euro compared to 218 million at the end of 2011. "We are heading towards a well-structured 2013 that we don't expect to be much better than last year", explains the director Marco Milani in the press release.
