Finmeccanica, through its subsidiaries AgustaWestland and Ansaldo Energia, was awarded new orders for a total amount equal to about 130 million euro .
Ansaldo Energia, in fact, has stipulated a contract worth approx 40 million euros with Cairo Electricity Production (owned by Egyptian Electricity Holding, the government's electricity company) for the supply of a steam turbine, a hydrogen generator and auxiliary systems for the Giza North combined cycle power plant, located on the outskirts of Cairo.
AgustaWestland, on the other hand, has signed a sales contract for an amount close to 90 million euros for seven AW139 helicopters to the Swedish government for search and rescue missions.
Meanwhile, in the morning, the Finmeccanica share gained 0,91% in Piazza Affari, at 3,784 euros per share.
