Between 24 and 28 November Eni repurchased 600 thousand treasury shares on the Stock Exchange, at an average price of 16,655 euros, for a total value of over 9,99 million euros.
The purchases, which were announced today, brought the total treasury shares in the group's portfolio to 0,88% of the capital, equal to 31.923.624 shares. The operation was aimed at supporting the quotation of the stock, which has been suffering in the last period.
Today, at the beginning of the afternoon, Eni lost 0,3% on the stock market, at 15,73 euros. On average for the last month, the red amounted to 7,24%, while in the last six months the shares dropped more than 16 percentage points.
