Fiat effect, RCS boom on the stock exchange

Rcs creates sparks in Piazza Affari. One hour after the start of trading, the publishing company's share managed to open, registering an increase of 25,91%, at 1,73 euro, and immediately entered the volatility auction. Savings shares rose by 14,84% to €0,596 and also entered the volatility auction.

To make Rcs fly is the blitz of Fiat, which on Friday raked in 0,7 million rights linked to the capital increase of the publishing group. A share which, added to the one that the company had already undertaken to exercise (more or less for 43 million shares), allows Lingotto to become the first single shareholder of RCS with 20,135%.

Rumors are also circulating about a division into three of the group: a) Spain could be sold to the Murdoch group; b) Corriere della Sera could be split off from the rest, thus facilitating any alliance with La Stampa; c) the rest, from the Gazzetta dello Sport to Rcs Libri, remains to be defined.
