Through the ongoing political consultations and those of tomorrow with the trade unions, it is starting to take shape the government's "high-profile" program which the prime minister in charge, Mario Draghi, intends to form within this week, to submit it to the vote of Parliament at the beginning of the coming week. together withacceleration of vaccination plan on the English model and on the rewriting of the Recovery Plan, the reforms are finally back on the government's table, which are not only necessary to receive European funds but are essential to modernize Italy and push it along the path of economic growth with an eye above all to the job emergency.
From what Draghi has said to the political forces he has met so far, there are three great reforms which will have priority and which the nascent government hopes to implement in a European key as soon as possible: that of Public administration, that of revenue authorities and that of the civil justice. The general framework in which the new government will operate will be that ofEuropeanism,atlantism and environmentalism.
For now Draghi has only indicated the major priorities of the reforms without going into detail, but listening a lot to the suggestions of the political forces. Draghi also said he expected a recovery in the Italian economy in the coming months, but specified that it will be necessary to deal intelligently with the social emergency, creating the conditions for relaunching real work with investments, without resigning to the shortcut of subsidies but reorganizing and better selecting protections. Central to jump-starting the economy and work will be the unblocking of construction sites and the revitalization of infrastructures. Draghi has also repeatedly returned to the urgency of reorganizing the school, providing for the extension of the school year to 30 June.
But obviously among the first things that the new government will have to do is attack the pandemic emergency accelerating the vaccination plan, with great attention to logistics, to "get it going" on the English model. The pandemic, economic and social emergencies are the three missions that the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has indicated to Draghi for the formation of the new government and the prime minister in charge is preparing to implement the necessary actions to face them quickly and with success.
