Avoid 35 million euros in fraud in 2025
“In 2025, Poste Italiane specialists have managed 1,5 million alerts, avoiding fraud attempts for a value of approximately 35 million euros, thanks to a special platform capable of analyzing suspicious behavior with the help of models developed by the analyst staff,” the company explains in a statement.
The new anti-fraud solutions fit into a scenario characterised by a crecent complexity of fraud risk, amplified by the digitalization of financial services and an increasingly complex national and European regulatory framework aimed at preventing and managing fraudulent events.
This evolution is an integral part of Poste Italiane's Business Transformation journey and leverages the skills, processes, and technologies developed over time. Poste Italiane's Fraud Management infrastructure thus becomes the cornerstone of an innovative customer offering, based on robust analytics and cutting-edge technologies.
To support this project, Poste Italiane has started a partnership with Alfa Group, A cybersecurity company and market leader in anti-fraud, offering an innovative and excellent model for combating fraud, enhancing the security and resilience of the entire ecosystem.
