Art at auction to support health care for the most fragile women

Phillips online auction in collaboration with the organization non-profit Noise for Now, which will raise funds and awareness for women's health rights in the United States.

Proceeds from Noise for Now will benefit two leading 501(c)(3) charities: The National Network of Abortion Funds, which helps move the financial and logistical barriers to abortion access, and The Abortion Care Network, which aims to create a network for suppliers across the country. Amelia Bauer, Executive Director of Noise for Now, said: “Access to safe and legal abortion in the US is the biggest threat since Roe V Wade decided 49 years ago. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Phillips and all the incredible artists who recognize the urgency of this moment. Generous donations of their artwork will help raise much-needed funds for organizations on the front lines of the fight to protect and deliver reproductive healthcare".

John McCord, Phillips International Specialist and Vice President, 20th Century and Contemporary Art, and Patrizia Koenig, Specialist, Co-Head of Daytime Sales, AVP added: “It is our privilege to work with Noise for Now to raise awareness much needed for women's reproductive health and safe access to abortion. We are so grateful to the artists who have generously donated their work to this timely cause. We encourage everyone to increase their digital works next month to create lasting change by furthering the important missions of these charities." Phillips is still actively submitting works for auction and encourages anyone who wishes to participate to reach out.

Noise for Now was founded in 2017 to raise money and awareness for local organizations across the United States working to provide and protect reproductive healthcare, including abortion. Over the past 5 years, the organization has worked with musicians such as Bon Iver, Kim Gordon, St. Vincent, Cyndi Lauper, Fiona Apple, Cat Power, Fleet Foxes and Neil Young, actors including Mark Ruffalo, Daryl Hannah, Ione Skye, Alysia Reiner and Noel Wells and more recently the WNBPA. This auction with Phillips will be the organization's first foray into fine art. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the incredible contemporary artists who have reached out to us over the years offering their support for Abortion Justice.
