No common project with Etihad on Alitalia. To say it is Jean Cyril Spinetta, president of Air France, effectively denying all the rumors of an agreement between the two airlines on Alitalia.
Still on the same topic, our national airline, Spinetta also denied the rumors, spread in the press, which state that Air France would have prohibited Etihad from submitting a bid for Alitalia: “These are totally wrong rumours. It would be absurd. We have never prohibited anything like this and I don't see how we could influence it."
Air France's commitment as a shareholder of Alitalia, as part of the 150 million euro shareholder loan, will be at “maximum of 37,5 million euros”.
