The code sharing with Air Berlin and Etihad will become effective from 28 October next - The aim is to offer a wider choice of destinations to its customers - Strengthened the routes between Europe and Abu Dhabi.

Air France: code sharing agreement with Etihad and Air Berlin

Air France-KLM has signed a codeshare agreement with Air Berlin and Etihad. The announcement comes in a note released by the company, which specifies how the contract will become operational starting from next October 28 and will have the purpose of offer "a wider choice of destinations" to its customers.
The agreement between Air France-KLM and Air Berlin will allow customers of the two companies to travel on all their routes between France and Germany, with the possibility of making a connection to various destinations via Paris to Berlin, through Air Berlin and Dusseldorf or Air France.
As regards the agreement with Etihad, in particular, the routes between Europe and Abu Dhabi were strengthened, thus allowing Etihad customers to travel on the daily flight from Amsterdam to Abu Dhabi operated by KLM, while Air France customers will be able to travel from Paris to Abu Dhabi via flights operated by Etihad Airways.
