Innovation, internationalization, agriculture 4.0, sustainability, marketing and networking. These are the keywords of AgriAcademy, the free advanced training program, branded ISMEA and aimed at 250 young farmers, which will start from next summer. Applications for the public selection call are open until 10 June 2018.
But what is the first AgriAcademy?
It is an innovative and experiential training program with formula executives: two weekends (from Friday to Sunday morning), one in summer and one in autumn, in a location chosen by the participants between Rome, Bologna and Bari.
In the first three days there will be classroom lessons, practical workshops and informal social moments to stimulate the activity of networking. Step subsequent, for the most deserving of the first group, additional training with coachingin the company or study visits also abroad.
“A project – underlines ISMEA– which accompanies farms led by young farmers, interested in developing skills and knowledge in the field of innovation, sustainability and internationalization in an unconventional training path. The classic frontal lessons will alternate with testimonials of successful cases, networking moments and on the model of digital marathons (the hackathon), also the team development of design ideas.”
The courses are free for the participants and all expenses are paid by the organization.

AUTUMN SESSION: Presentation of team projects and award ceremony

The initiative is promoted by Ismea (Institute of services for the agricultural food market) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies (MiPAAF) as part of the Fund for the development of youth entrepreneurship in agriculture.
