Work, justice, measures for growth. These are the themes at the center of the long night summit at Palazzo Chigi between Prime Minister Mario Monti and the leaders of the majority: Angelino Alfano, Pier Luigi Bersani and Pier Ferdinando Casini. After six hours of talks, finally the agreement. The new "agreement" contemplates "the need for a periodic liaison with the Presidents of the parliamentary groups that support the Government – reads a note from the Presidency of the Council – for the definition of an effective and coherent programming of the agenda on the main measures that Parliament will examine”. The Professor has thus obtained from the parties that support him a commitment to dialogue, in order to minimize the obstacles to the legislative action of the Chambers.  

Also present at the meeting were the Minister of Justice, Paula Severino, and the Minister of Economic Development, Corrado Passera. The former spoke to ABC about the parliamentary process she intends to follow in order to quickly approve the measures under study, some of which should allow – in parallel with the tax and labor reforms – to attract foreign investments to our country and to the at the same time to stimulate national ones.
