Unipol, here are those interested in the assets for sale: Allianz, Aviva, Zurich and Cattolica

Allianz, Aviva, Zurich and Cattolica are among the insurance groups interested in the assets that the Unisai group will have to sell to comply with the constraints imposed by the Antitrust. The Unisai group was born from the merger between Unipol and Fondiaria-Sai. This was stated by the managing director of Unipol, Carlo Cimbri.

There are between 10 and 15 individuals who could come forward to acquire the assets. Among these are also various private equity funds. The assets being sold represent a total of 1,7 billion euros in premiums and will be sold in two tranches.

Unipol's CEO did not give advances on the expected proceeds from the disposal, indicating that "it is difficult to make an estimate". The sale document will be sent to potential bidders in May.
