Volatile stock exchanges in an increasingly red December: European stock markets close negative one of the last sessions of the year and Wall Street is wiping away part of yesterday's gains; even oil beats a retreat, after the rally on the eve. A global slowdown is feared, while the sixth day of the shutdown of the federal government takes place. Business Square loses 1,81%, 18.064 points, penalized by cars, utilities, oil. They shine though Amplifon +3,2% and Juventus +1,14%, to theirs debut on the main list. Bonds improve towards the end, pending the approval of the manoeuvre: the yield on the Italian 2,75-year bond is XNUMX%; the spread with the Bund it stops at 251.50 basis points (-0,9%). Meanwhile, the Treasury this morning assigned all 6,5 billion euro of six-month BOTs, with rates rising to 0,215% from 0,163% in November.

A brief look at the other squares shows that the main list of Frankfurt, -2,37%, is all negative; they retreat Paris -0,6%; Madrid -1,38%; London -1,52%; Zurich -2,63%.

Su Wall Street the realizations weigh, but also the data on consumer confidence for December, which has fallen to its lowest level since July. Dow and S&P could end 2018 with the worst monthly percentage loss since February 2009 (over 10%). The Nasdaq on the other hand is once again in “bear” territory, defined by a drop of at least 20% since its last record.

It strengthens theeuro, which takes effect against the major currencies. The exchange rate with the dollar is around 1,141.

Il Petroleum, like Brent, dropped 2,34% and dropped to 53,48 dollars a barrel. Uncertainty makes gold more attractive as it strengthens in the 1275 dollar an ounce area.

In Piazza Affari the worst title is fca, which drops 3,86%. in the auto sector, sales also penalize  Classic Ferrari for sale -2,97% and Brembo -3,55%. It weakens further Telecom, which drops to 0,482 euro per share, -3,68%. On the shopping front, it's good Recordati +2,34%; Ferragamo +1,56% and Moncler + 0,94%.

Weak banks, with the exception of where +0,82%. Out of the main list Banca Carige it dwindles to the value of 0,0013 euro per share (-18,75%), without the go-ahead for the expected capital increase.

On the opposite bank Nice, +42,04%, following the announcement of a total takeover bid by the majority shareholder Nice Group, which will then proceed with the delisting.
