“I think our advisors have thought of a two-way conclusion”. These are the words of Finmeccanica's managing director, Mauro Moretti, when asked about the question of the sale of Ansaldo Breda, to which that of Ansaldo Sts, the two subsidiaries of the group which operate in the transport sector, is also connected.
Moretti specified that the binding offers are expected within the last week of October: "The decision will arrive within the end of the month and the beginning of November". The Advisors at work are “Ubs and Mediobanca”. The two groups interested in the acquisition are the Japanese Hitachi and the Chinese couple Cnr Corporation-Insigma.
Shortly after the declarations of Finmeccanica's number one, the group's stock travels around parity on the stock exchange, gaining 0,21% to 7,10 euros.
