Fim Cisl together with Adapt have published a book on Industry 4.0, with the aim of starting a debate on its implementation.
“Among the many dossiers opened by the Renzi government – reads the note – one of the most important and urgent is that on Industry 4.0. The national plan presented by Minister Calenda had its first results in the contents of the 2017 Budget Law but there are still many things to do, starting with the organization of the Competence Centers and more generally with managing the transition towards a new production model that will impact not a little on work and industrial relations”.
The volume, entitled “Industry 4.0. Role and function of the Competence Centers”, analyzes the plan “identifying its strengths and weaknesses to then propose a broad and not only technological vision of the training, work and social challenges that await us”.
The book intends to be "the start of a journey that will bring Adapt and Fim Cisl throughout Italy during the next year to meet companies, universities and schools to discuss the topics it deals with and then draw up a White Paper that will be presented in September 2017 ”.
