Fiat has little movement on the stock market, after a brief rise on the rumors of a site, relaunched by other agencies, which speak of talks for the sale of Alfa Romeo to Audi, the Volkswagen group.
By mid-morning, Fiat shares gained 0,3%. The site's piece says a deal is near. It also reports a denial from Audi ("there is no substance in the news") and a Fiat spokesman, who "does not comment on speculative rumours".
Volkswagen has expressed its willingness to buy the Alfa brand on several occasions. The CEO of the Italian group Sergio Marchionne has always denied wanting to sell him.
