Eurizon, an asset management company Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has signed an agreement to acquire, through i two investment funds Alternative Eurizon ITEᴙ and Eurizon ITEᴙ ELTIF1 , a majority share of Trasporti Romagna equal to approximately 63%.
Signed last August 5th, the operation obtained the finalization of the financing of one on October 5th bank poolAnd. The closing is expected by the end 2022 subject to obtaining the authorizations from the competent authorities.
The operation provides, alongside the EURIZON ITEᴙ funds in the majority, the re-investment and a minority share by the industrial partner Simon Romagna (30%) and Intesa Sanpaolo (approx. 7%).

Trasporti Romagna: a fleet of 1000 trucks in a network of 30 logistics centres
The Italian company, which is based in Vicenza, offers road transport services and integrated logistics at the service of large-scale retail trade operators, the agri-food sector and temperature-controlled food producers.
The Romagna Transport Group is active in particular in the North-East area, it makes use of a fleet of approx 1.000 trucks, of which over 60% owned, and operates through a network of 30 logistics centers spread across the area. The Group also manages logistics services for controlled-temperature products (fresh and frozen chain) for its customers.
