Tim shareholders who did not join the first phase of the takeover bid promoted by Poste Italiane will have a new opportunity from 21st to 25 September 2026, five days of open trading. The reopening of deadlines It was confirmed by Poste after the closure of the first membership period, which brought Poste's overall participation in Tim to 66,627% of the share capital.
The offer includes for each Tim share brought into membership 0,218 ordinary shares of Poste Italiane e 1,97 euros in cash. The component cash has been increased by 0,30 euros per share compared to the initially planned price. Poste Italiane has specified that the increased price will also be paid to shareholders who participate during the reopening of the terms.
The reopening applies to TIM shareholders who did not participate during the acceptance period that ended on September 11. Those who participate in the new window will be required to pay the consideration by October 2, 2026, subject to any changes by Consob. Poste Italiane also announced that the increased consideration represents the final consideration of the offering and that no further increases are planned.
The takeover bid has started last July 20 and from the wedding between the two groupsa colossus will be born with aggregate revenues of approximately 26,9 billion euros, a pro forma aggregate EBIT of approximately 4,8 billion, over 140 thousand employees and expected synergies of 700 million on an annual basis.
