The rally of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena continues: the Tuscan bank is still today the best stock in Piazza Affari, where it gained 1,86% in mid-morning at 0,2352 euro per share, after the April had hit rock bottom 0,1612 euro.
The share of the bank led by Alessandro Profumo has been in positive territory for the whole week, and in total in the last month it has gained almost 12 percentage points. The Sienese bank's success came just after Profumo illustrated future developments and spoke of the reference shareholder "significantly below 10% of the capital".
