Arte Fiera and the Golinelli Foundation together again: for the ART CITY White Night, Saturday 30 January, advances will be given on the next art and science exhibition: "UNPREDICTABLE, being ready for the future without knowing how it will be" scheduled between January and March 2017 at the Opificio and in other places in Bologna. The evening concludes, at 22pm in the auditorium, with the loop screening of video by French artist Camille Henrot “The Strife of Love in a Dream”, 2011 (duration: 11'37''), presented for the first time in Italy. Commissioned by the Center Pompidou, the video was shot in India and alternates scenes of a pilgrimage with those of the industrial production of an anti-anxiety drug and the extraction of venom from a snake. Religion, science and superstition are three ways of facing the greatest human fear, that of death, which Henrot explores in a fascinating and pressing sequence of images, where similarities and differences are indicated through a construction entirely entrusted to editing. Camille Henrot (1978, lives in Paris and New York) is among the most interesting young international artists to emerge on the art scene in recent years. In 2013 you won the Silver Lion as best young artist at the 55th Venice Biennale, with the video “Grosse Fatigue”. You have recently been awarded the Edvard Munch Prize, a new and prestigious international prize dedicated to the best artists under 40.

Saturday, from 21 to 24, you can enter while seats last. Sunday dedicated to activities for children and adults between art and science: from 15 to 19 pm workshops reservation, visits until 20pm.
