Casavecchia & Pallagrello Wine Festival: three days dedicated to promoting the distinctive wines of the upper Caserta area.

The countdown is on for the Casavecchia & Pallagrello Wine Festival, three days dedicated to the region's great wines, the distinctive grape varieties of the Alto Casertano area, and local culinary excellence, from July 3rd to 5th in Pontelatone (Caserta). The 2026 edition marks a significant step forward in the event's growth, with a significant increase in winery registrations. Over twenty wineries representing the region will be present.

The wineries featured in the 2026 edition will be: Alois, Vigne Chigi, Sclavia, Cantina di Lisandro, Laboris Catrame, Masseria Piccirillo, Le Fontanelle, Il Verro, Scaramuzzo, Canestrini, Sergio Sagliocco, Domus Vinaria, Viticoltori del Casavecchia, Vestini Campagnano, Selvanova, Le Ghiandaie, Gravina, Melone, and Civittolo.

The event format is also evolving, with a reorganization of spaces designed to further enhance the visitor experience. In the historic center of Pontelatone, a large area will be dedicated entirely to wineries and tasting tables, creating a more intimate setting geared toward enthusiasts and professionals interested in deepening their knowledge of local wines. This edition also sees the elimination of the traditional booths, replaced by tasting tables, allowing for greater exposure to the wineries and a more hands-on approach to tasting. The rest of the village will be animated by the food area, offering a wide-ranging and carefully selected gastronomic offering. Restaurateurs and industry professionals will offer local dishes and specialties according to shared quality standards, strengthening the dialogue between wine, local cuisine, and regional culture. The program also includes a major conference on the theme "Pontelatone: Wine as a Local Identity," a discussion of topics such as archaeology, traditions, and excellent production.

For three days, Pontelatone will be transformed into a major showcase for the winemaking of the Alto Casertano area, offering the public the chance to taste some of the most significant creations from Casavecchia and Pallagrello, meet the producers directly, and enjoy an authentic experience combining wine, food, and local culture.
