At least 39 have died, including 16 foreigners, and 40 have been injured in a very serious attack carried out shortly after midnight on New Year's Eve in the "Reina" night club in the heart of Istanbul, where the attacker, dressed as Santa Claus, opened the fired wildly and at random on the crowd and then fled.
The restaurant, well known, is located in the Besiktas district, on the shore of the Bosphorus on the European side. After more than 30 hours, the attack was claimed by ISIS. The investigations of the Turkish security forces had already attributed the attack to the fighters of the caliphate.
