September brings back into the field Enel corporate volunteeringa new calendar of initiatives which involves employees in activities dedicated to the environment and local communities. They are five appointments scheduled, distributed between Naples, Rome, Turin e Monza, with three initiatives dedicated to environmental sustainability and implemented together with Legambiente and two of a social nature.
The calendar thus brings together diverse themes, from biodiversity protection to urban regeneration, from the care of green spaces to activities for children and the elderly, offering employees the opportunity to dedicate their time and skills to the local communities.
Enel's corporate volunteering program is back: new events
The September calendar takes the start on September 16th in Naples, with "Crossing the threshold, Let's learn workshop at the educational gardenFrom 14 to 17 pm, at the community garden in Parco De Filippo in Ponticelli, volunteers will be involved in activities with primary school children, designed to support learning, socialization, and personal growth, from study methods to managing emotions.
We continue on September 17th, with two simultaneous appointments. A Monza, from 9.30 to 13, is scheduled “A Day for the Environment – Protecting Biodiversity”, at the Apincittà association. At the same time, Rome, the volunteers will participate in an activity of “Urban Regeneration” in Piazza dei Consoli, contributing to the care and enhancement of the urban space.
Il The program arrives in Turin on September 18th, where from 9.30 to 13 the event will take placeA Day for the Environment – Park Litter" at the Falchera Lakes Park. The initiative will focus on waste collection and raising awareness about protecting natural spaces.
It will close the calendar Rome, September 21th, with "Together with the elderly of Santa GiacintaFrom 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Cittadella della Carità “Santa Giacinta,” volunteers will be involved in a social activity dedicated to the elderly and the community hosted in the facility.
Corporate volunteering allows Enel employees to dedicate one day of paid leave per year to community activitiesThe initiatives thus become an opportunity to make skills and time available outside of daily work, working in a team and gaining experience in the local area.
Since the launch of the project to date, there have been cover 4.000 Enel workers involved, for a total of more than 30 hours of volunteeringA report that measures the participation achieved by the program, through activities that over the years have ranged from environmental protection to social interventions.
