Fumakilla lands in Italy. The Japanese household insecticide company with the vape brand enter the capital of Zapi group with a majority share. The founder of the Zambotto family will remain in the shareholding structure of the company, with the maintenance of the current operational roles of his 3 sons. The partnership envisages the shared objective of confirming and enhancing the current organization and all personnel employed by the Zapi Group, who will be able to count on the ongoing support of a dedicated team of managers from the historic Japanese company.

For the Japanese player, with an annual turnover of 378,5 million euros in revenues as at 31 March 2021, this is the first industrial operation not only in Italy but in Europe, which is added to the plants in Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia , Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar.

Furthermore, the new corporate composition is focused on the supervision and development of the market fight against parasites internationally, with a diversified offer: the Zapi Group will be able to develop new products and enter new markets thanks to a deeply rooted partner.

For the agreement, the Zapi Group was supported, as financial advisor, by Stpg - Scouting Capital Advisors, who assisted it in identifying the industrial partner functional to development and growth. As far as legal advisory is concerned, the Paduan reality was assisted by the Sutich Barbieri Sutich Law Firm; while for the tax aspects by Studio Bogoni.
