Hermes: record sales in 2014, over 4 billion

The year 2014 of Hermes is going to be archived, which, for the first time in the history of the French luxury brand, closed with sales exceeding 4 billion euros, with a growth of 9,7%. The group's turnover stood at 4,12 billion against 3,75 in 2013.

According to the company's estimates, the operating margin for 2014 will be above 31%, but below the record level of 32,4% recorded in 2013, mainly due to the decline in the yen.

Hermes' estimates for 2015 speak of a continuation of the growth trend, albeit at a slower pace than in 2014: the forecast is for an 8% increase in turnover at constant exchange rates, due to economic, geopolitical and monetary. The luxury group also announced the payment of an interim dividend of €1,50 per share.
