Green Pass not only for traveling and going to restaurants, but also for going to work. It is in fact an indirect obligation to vaccinate (since not everyone has antibodies and cannot even swab every 48 hours), which the industrial association is discussing concretely with the government: Confindustria even puts the suspension of salary for those who do not intend to get vaccinated and do not have the opportunity to carry out a job that does not put their colleagues at risk.
“The exhibition of a valid green certificate - reads a document revealed by Il Tempo and not denied by the association - should fall within the obligations of diligence, correctness and good faith on which the employment relationship is based. As a direct consequence of this, the employer, where possible, could assign the worker tasks other than those normally performed, paying the relative remuneration; if this is not possible, the employer should be able not to admit the subject to work, with suspension of remuneration in the event of removal from the company”. Very clear and harsh words, precisely not denied by President Bonomi and disseminated without a preventive confrontation with the unions, which in fact are not tendentially in favor of such a rigid approach.
In fact, it is a question of complying with two rights: obviously the right to keep one's job, but at the same time the protection of health in the workplace is also a workers' right.
