There are already 14 children traders in virtual currencies which are currently registered in the Register held by the OAM. These are Young Platform, Tesora srl, Anubi Digital srl, CheckSig srl, Binance Italy srl, Blockeras srl, Platypus srl, Cryptosmart srl, Conio srl, Bitpanda gmbh, Tinaba spa, Chainside, Cls srl, The Rock Trading srl. The Body has in fact approved the related applications for registration, which arrived close to the opening of the Register active since 16 May 2022. Another 28 operators also appear to have carried out the pre-registration preparatory to the application for registration.
Please note that registering for Register of traders in cryptocurrencies is mandatory: those who carry out the activity, even online, in Italy, and are in possession of the legal requirements, will be able to continue to do so but will have to present application form within 60 days following May 16 (last deadline July 15). After registration, quarterly notification of operations carried out in Italy must be made by the 15th of the month following the reference quarter. In the event of non-compliance with the deadline or refusal to register by the OAM, any exercise of the activity will be considered abusive.
