The eighteenth-century Villa Farsetti in Santa Maria di Sala (Venice) will constitute the prestigious setting for an important meeting between sparkling wines and champagnes from all over Europe. The coolest event in Italy on champagne and bubbles returns from 23 to 24 March. Now in its seventh edition, Bollicine in villa will offer wine lovers the best of Italian and European sparkling wine production, also accompanied by a selection of excellent gastronomic products.

A journey to the most interesting and important "terroirs" for sparkling wines, such as France, Italy, Spain, Slovenia, Austria to which Hungary is added this year with the Chateau Pajzos winery in Sárospatak.

On stage will be international autochthonous and non-native vines, organic, biodynamic, natural, conventional, plain, hill, mountain (from heroic viticulture), sea wines, wines from independent winemakers and small emerging or already established companies. For Italy, among others, Trentino, Oltrepò Pavese, Franciacorta, Piedmont and Valdobbiadene will be present, among the most suitable and well-known, but it will be possible to discover new sparkling wines from Sicily, Sardinia, Tuscany, Marche, Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Alto Adige.

Another novelty for 2024 is the debut of "Passerina di Selen", the wine of Luce Caponegro aka Selen. Fine bubbles, personally presented by the producer, an icon of the 90s. Of which each sip is defined as an embrace of freshness and minerality, a harmonious symphony of wisteria and ripe fruit.

The “Bollicine in Villa” event is a point of reference in Italy for its “educational” impact in such a vast world. The strong experience in the sector of the Berna Brothers of Ezio and Vanni Berna, with their well-known wine shop "Le Cantine Dei Dogi" in Mirano (Venice) allows them to enter the world of international "bubbles" and, to introduce employees and enthusiasts of the over 2.500 bottles of the highest quality Italian and European wines for tasting, in an exciting journey into the endless world of white, red and rosé bubbles. The exhibitors will be distributed according to the processing method, so that the guest can take a "real tour" as well as enjoy a sensorial, engaging experience and real cultural support of the highest level. All accompanied by food and gastronomic products from small "Italian" companies.

The “Venice International Wine Trophy Bubbles” wine competition by “Il Vino Per Tutti” organized by the online newspaper Egnews.it and the Guide “ilvinopertutti.it” in collaboration with the Enoteca le Cantine dei Dogi could not be missed. The competition is open to Italian and international companies that produce any wine with bubbles and of any colour. Like every year, on Saturday 23 March, the Gala Dinner will take place at a prestigious historic location in "Trebaseleghe", with refined dishes accompanied by great national and international sparkling wines.
