Eles doesn't stop anymore. After the Guinness debut, in which the Todi-based company doubled its value from 1,9 euros to just under 3,8 euros, closing the session with a 99,47% increase, the second day of listing on the Aim seems to confirm the record trend. A little over an hour after the close, the shares – suspended due to an excessive rise in the morning – continue to rise, scoring +31,42% to 4,981 euros. The race is so unbridled that it has prompted Borsa Italiana to intervene. The company has announced that from today and until further notice, it will not be possible to place orders on Eles ordinary shares without a price limit.
The shares had been placed at 1,90 euros at the top of the price range. The IPO had registered a demand equal to 5,1 times the offer, a record for the Aim Italia market.
But what is the basis of the performance? “We have satisfied at least three records for the Aim market – explained the CEO yesterday. Francesca Zaffarami – the first is having collected a demand equal to more than 5 times the offer, the second is the +87% marked today on the Stock Exchange (pre-closure rise, ed.) and the third is that of having the Norwegian Sovereign Fund as well as important Italian and foreign investors”.
Eles is an innovative SME from Umbria, active in the testing and microelectronics sector. In 2018 it recorded a turnover of 22 million and an operating margin of 2,7 million. The company is present in Europe, the Far East, America and Israel, in the main semiconductor poles. Its customers include companies among the top 15 chipmakers that make up 80% of the world's market volumes.
In view of the listing, Eles placed 3,63 million shares, of which 3,157 new issues and 473 thousand deriving from the exercise of the over-allotment option granted by a non-operating shareholder of the issuer, to the Global Coordinator Bper Banca. The free float of the post-listing company is equal to approximately 44% of the share capital.
