Six years of activity, 600 million euros of capital raised, 273 million invested in over 50 companiesinnovative and 55 million already collected from exits. These are the numbers with which Neva Sgr, society of venture capital of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group 100% controlled by Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, took stock of its progress during the 2026 Annual Meeting, hosted at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin.
This process developed in a context marked first by the pandemic and then by a more complex geopolitical and economic landscape, while venture capital is called upon to support technologies and companies operating in rapidly changing sectors, from energy to life sciences, from digitalization to the space economy. The meeting's underlying theme is the relationship between capital, innovation, and industrial development.
Neva Sgr's numbers: six funds and over 50 investments
Since its launch in August 2020, Neva Sgr has raised €600 million through six funds: Neva First, Neva First Italy, Background SEI Development Innovation Ecosystems, Neva II, Neva II Italy e Neva II Parallel Fund Lombardy.
Through these vehicles they were €273 million invested in over 50 innovative Italian and international companies and in Italian funds dedicated to innovation development. Exits have generated approximately €55 million to date, while a portion of the capital raised remains available for new investments and potential transactions with existing portfolio companies.
Il wallet includes companies active in different compartments, from biotech to the space economy, from energy storage to agritech and hybrid work technologies. These include Tr1X, AAVantgarde Bio, and Kamau Therapeutics in the biotech sector; D-Orbit and Leaf Space in the space economy; Energy Dome in energy storage; xFarm Technologies in digital agriculture; and deskbird in workspace management.
Venture capital and new industrial supply chains
The Annual Meeting also provided an opportunity to engage with the portfolio companies' investors and industrial partners, through testimonials from the founders and CEOs of the companies in the portfolio.
