Angelo Rizzoli, the former film producer and publisher, son of Andrea Rizzoli, died in Rome at the Gemelli hospital where he was hospitalized. This was confirmed by his second wife Melania De Nichilo.
Rizzoli was born on November 12, 1943 and graduated in political science in Pavia, specializing at Columbia University in New York. He had been suffering from multiple sclerosis for some time.
In 1974, together with his father Andrea, Angelo bought Corriere della Sera and four years later took over from his father in the management of Rizzoli.
