Again an anti-system result from US primaries. Tuesday, in New Hampshire, the two outsiders triumphed: the ultra-conservative and politically incorrect Donald Trump in the Republican house and the progressive Bernie Sanders on the Democratic side.
In both cases, the competition has been blown away: Trump it collected 35% of the preferences, more than double of John Kasich (still at 16%) and almost three times as much Ted Cruz (at 12%). Even more detached Jeb bush e Marco Rubio, both at 11%.
Among Democrats, however, Sanders he swept away by collecting 60% of the votes, against 38% of Hillary Clinton. “What began last week in Iowa, what New Hampshire voters confirmed tonight, is nothing less than the beginning of a political revolution. It is a political revolution that will unite tens of millions of people,” said the Democratic senator.
“Congratulations to Bernie Sanders – commented Clinton –, thanks to New Hampshire and to our volunteers. I promise to keep fighting for every vote and to give the country “real solutions. I'm used to falling and I'll get back up, even if the road to the White House won't be easy."
“We will make America great again – was Trump's comment -, we will beat China, Japan. We will beat Mexico commercially. We will get the better of all these countries that take so much of our money away from us, every day. It won't happen again. We will do something so positive and so quickly that the world will respect us again, believe me.
