TIM Brasil: Profits rose 6,2% to €175 million thanks to mobile services, B2B business, and TIM Ultrafibra.

Net revenues from services grew by 5,7% to 1,1 billion, while EBITDA increased by 7% to approximately 600 million.

Positive second quarter for Tim Brazil. The South American subsidiary of the group led by Pietro Labriola currently under the takeover bid of Poste Italiane, closed the second quarter of 2026 with a normalized net profit of approximately 175 million of euros at the current exchange rate (1,036 billion reais), up 6,2% on an annual basis.

Also growing are the net revenues from services, which in the three months rose by 5,7% to 6,785 billion reais (around 1,1 billion euros), while the EBITDA increased by 7% to 3,586 billion reais (about 0,6 billion euros), with a margin of 51,5 percent.

Growth, a note explains, was supported by mobile services, the B2B business and the expansion of Tim Ultrafibra.

“The quarterly results reflect progress on multiple fronts of the business, anchored by increased profitability, strong cash generation and the strengthening of new business areas,” commented Alberto Griselli, CEO of Tim Brasil. “We are building – he added – a TIM that is increasingly ready for the future, thanks to the renewal of the portfolio, convergence, the expansion of B2B, AI applied to business, operational efficiency and an ESG agenda fully integrated into the strategy”.

Meanwhile, the presentation of the Tim's first half-year accounts, currently engaged in a planned merger with Poste Italiane. The takeover bid launched by the company led by Matteo Del Fante will close on September 11th, unless extended. If all goes according to plan, the merger will be completed by the end of the year and Telecom Italia shares will be delisted.

According to estimates, the merger between Poste and Tim will create a giant with 150 employees, with a network of 13 post offices and approximately 4.000 Tim stores.
