Tim wins the Guinness Book of Records: 1.372 RobotTims danced at the same time for 1 minute and 30 seconds during the filming of a commercial that will be broadcast next Friday, during the fourth evening of the Sanremo Festival on Rai1. The RobotTims, controlled by a single smartphone thanks to the TIM network, all performed the same dance steps together to the tune of 'Another day of sun'.

Hardware cards made by Olivetti were installed on the 1.372 RobotTims to allow simultaneous dancing by programming the steps chosen for the occasion by the choreographer Laccio. A Guinness Book of Records judge has certified the actual number of robots involved in the dance. Tim thus surpasses the record previously held by the Chinese company WL Intelligent Technology Co. which made 1.069 robots dance simultaneously last August.

An important record that adds to the excellent coverage of Tim's LTE network which ensures increasingly high-performance transmission capacity, guaranteeing extremely high levels of speed for the use of applications in real time.
