Spain: GDP -1,5% in 2013, deficit at 6%

According to estimates by the Bank of Spain, the Iberian country's GDP will record a contraction of 1,5% in the current year, followed by a slight recovery, of 0,6% in 2014 – For both years the budget deficit is expected at 6%.

The Spanish recession continues. The Bank of Spain, in fact, forecasts that in 2013 the country's GDP will undergo a contraction of 1,5%, which should be followed, in 2014, by a recovery of 0,6%.

As regards the budget deficit, again according to estimates by the Bank of Spain, this year it should settle at 6% of GDP. Same forecast also for 2014.
