Nb Aurora sold its 40% stake in Sun Club a The Equity Club (Club Deal of Mediobanca) for approximately 109 million euros, reinvesting in the future development of the company. Nb Aurora invested in Club del Sole in December 2018 and, also thanks to its contribution, the group carried out the acquisition of 12 Camping-Villages.
With 23 facilities managed in 7 regions in north-central Italy, Club del Sole is currently the main Italian operator in the camping-village sector with a 2023 turnover of approximately 100 million euros and an ebitda margin of more than 30%. There Giondi family, founder in 1974, maintains the majority and will lead the industrial project.
THEagreement, in detail, provides for a reinvestment by NB Aurora and other funds for a maximum of 65 million euros, through a capital increase to further support the growth of the company.
Il closing of the transaction is expected for early May 2024, with Tec as the ideal partner for the operation through a process, conducted with the help of two financial advisors (Rothschild & Co and Credem Euromobiliare Private Banking).
