De Niro-Zagara exhibition at the Benucci building in Arezzo?

The exhibition of Robert Henry De Niro, father of the famous actor, was inaugurated yesterday at the Palazzetto Benucci in Arezzo. The exhibition, which also sees the participation of Fiamma Zagara, will remain open until Sunday 3 May. “We wanted to enhance the individual authors by designing four distinct rooms dedicated to some of them,” explains Ida Benucci, collector and gallery owner originally from Arezzo.

“Entering the family building, you pass Botero's 'Man on Horseback', and then you find the works of Fiamma Zagara, from trees to paintings, all works that come to life from the processing of particular materials,” he adds.

“The large hall is divided between works by Pignatelli in which 'La biga' stands out, and works by Turi Simeti known for his extroversion”, he continues. “The next room is dedicated to Robert De Niro's father, while on the second floor there are the Riace Bronzes by Mario Ceroli, and works by Scordia and Schifano, artists from Piazza del Popolo of the 60s, Pirandello and Guarienti”, he concludes he.
