He passed away after a long illness, Joseph Bertha, a great historian of Italian industry and, in particular, of the automotive industry. After graduating from the University of Milan, Berta began her research activity at the study center of the Adriano Olivetti Foundation of Ivrea and then assumed, in the mid-nineties, the management ofHistorical archive of Fiat. He later became associate professor of contemporary history at the Bocconi and member of the Academy of Sciences of Turin.
Berta had collaborated several times with FIRSTonline, which remembers him with regret and joins in sharing the pain by offering its deepest condolences to the family.
